I am a PhD candidate in economics at Georgetown University. My research applies structural econometric methods to problems in education, labor markets, and sports. I am on the job market in 2026–2027.

My job market paper, "Optimal Dynamic Selection Under Costly Evaluation: Evidence from Graduate Admissions," develops structural models of admissions committee decision-making and tests whether committees optimize their selection decisions.

Primary fields: Applied Econometrics, Labor Economics
Secondary fields: Education Economics, Sports Economics

I also do applied sports analytics. My work on quarterback evaluation has been featured annually on ESPN since 2021, and my research on professional tennis (with Axel Anderson, John Rust, and Kin-ping Wong) was published in the Journal of Political Economy in 2025. More of my tennis analytics work is at Topspin Shot Research.
